Our spectacular specimen of this Phragmipedium hybrid won Best in Class at the New Hampshire Orchid Society Show on February 20, 2004. It was created by crossing the Phrag. Grande hybrid and the Phrag. wallisii species, which produces large flowers with two incredibly long petals, seen draping here almost to the base of the plant. Multiple flowers that bloom progressively on a tall inflorescence.
Dear Customers,
May I express my appreciation to all the supportive people I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with over the years. Granted, the purpose of setting up a merchants account on the internet is to generate income, but from some of you, I received much more than that.
Anyhow, to the point. After nearly 30 years of potting orchids, the process has taken its toll on my hands. Reynard’s Syndrome, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and chipped cartilage now prevents me from potting any more plants. I actually need my wife to open up jars for me –That’s a pretty strong signal.
Thus, at this point we will be shutting down and no longer taking orders for plants.
Again thanks, it was a great experience.
