Phalaenopsis Orchid Stem Propagation Plants for Sale

These orchids are clones of the original plants, grown by the stem propagation or the meristem process. The flowers are identical to those on the parent plant, but these orchids are produced in very limited numbers so we select only finest award quality specimens for cloning.

Mericlones These Mericlone (or Meristem) plants are produced from the new growing tissue of the parent plant, and are usually identical in every respect to the original. Although it is a more complicated process, the number of plants that can be produced is slightly higher than the stem propagation method. The end result is a much more affordable clone of the parent plant. There can be minor variations due to mutations in the genes, however, so if you absolutely must have an identical clone of the original, choose one of the Stem Propagation plants listed above.

More Phalaenopsis Orchids - Grown from Seed:

Phalaenopsis: 10”- 12” leaf span	Mature orchids that are ready to bloom shortly after purchase. These are recommended for beginners because they will endure less-than-perfect growing conditions and will bloom with the most basic care.
Phalaenopsis: 3”- 5” leaf span	Smaller plants that are bargains for successful growers looking for new hybrids. Some of these are blooming size, but may need TLC and time to reach their full potential. Some hybrids are so new that pictures are not available, but we indicate what we expect to see from their parentage.
