The Pescenia orchid hybrid is a spectacular bloomer, and is crossed here with a Zygopetalum orchid to produce long-lasting, multiple flowers on each inflorescence.
The photo above is one of the orchids in bloom in our greenhouse. Horticultural care is similar to that of a Zygopetalum orchid (cool to intermediate temperatures), with more frequent watering required, especially when flower spikes are present.
Dear Customers,
May I express my appreciation to all the supportive people I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with over the years. Granted, the purpose of setting up a merchants account on the internet is to generate income, but from some of you, I received much more than that.
Anyhow, to the point.
After nearly 30 years of potting orchids, the process has taken its toll on my hands. Reynard’s Syndrome, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and chipped cartilage now prevents me from potting any more plants. I actually need my wife to open up jars for me –That’s a pretty strong signal.
Thus, at this point we will be shutting down and no longer taking orders for plants.
Again thanks, it was a great experience.
