Our choice from the many colors of moth orchid plants that are currently in spike in our nursery! We will ship you an orchid plant that has a spike, like the one shown in the photo below, where the flower buds are not fully formed yet. This prevents the "bud blast" that occurs when young flower buds are exposed to sudden changes in temperature and humidity that results in the buds falling off the spike.

We ship these plants bare-root to you to ensure that both the spike and plant will survive the journey during shipping delivery. You can expect the spike to finish growing and begin blooming for you within a month or two. It may be one of the orchid plants listed here in our on line catalog, or it could be a new arrival to our nursery that is not yet listed. In either case, you will be pleased with a blooming Phalaenopsis or Doritaenopsis orchid plant in a short time.
Dear Customers,
May I express my appreciation to all the supportive people I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with over the years. Granted, the purpose of setting up a merchants account on the internet is to generate income, but from some of you, I received much more than that.
Anyhow, to the point. After nearly 30 years of potting orchids, the process has taken its toll on my hands. Reynard’s Syndrome, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and chipped cartilage now prevents me from potting any more plants. I actually need my wife to open up jars for me –That’s a pretty strong signal.
Thus, at this point we will be shutting down and no longer taking orders for plants.
Again thanks, it was a great experience.
