Dear Customers,

May I express my appreciation to all the supportive people I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with over the years. Granted, the purpose of setting up a merchants account on the internet is to generate income, but from some of you, I received much more than that.

Anyhow, to the point.

After nearly 30 years of potting orchids, the process has taken its toll on my hands. Reynard’s Syndrome, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and chipped cartilage now prevents me from potting any more plants. I actually need my wife to open up jars for me –That’s a pretty strong signal.

Thus, at this point we will be shutting down and no longer taking orders for plants.

Hybrid orchid seedlings can vary due to minor genetic variations and growing conditions, therefore, any picture of a particular orchid hybrid is only a reference and is NOT an absolute representation of the orchid flower you will see when the orchid seedlings bloom. Refer to our Stem Propagation and Mericlone offerings for clones of the original Phalaenopsis or Doritaenopsis plants.

 

Also, please call ahead to arrange a visit, because Mike occasionally sneaks out to the Rhode Island waterfront to enjoy fishing in the salt air. Here he is caught on film in front of the greenhouse, looking a little guilty with a recent catch, because he really was supposed to be working in the greenhouse instead. But, there is no way that he can hide a fish this big, or claim that he is just trying to cross-breed it with an orchid...
