Orchids of Wickford

On Jan. 23, 2004, our Dendrobium Velvet Heart 'Ocean State' won an HCC/AOS award, as well as the 'Best in Class' award at the CAIOS annual orchid show. Red is a difficult color to capture on camera, but the following shots were taken in bright sun at our greenhouse after the CAIOS show to give you an idea of the beautiful variations in color on these flowers.
